Liz and Richie!

Liz and Richie had a gorgeous wedding in the park. The weather was PERFECT, and these two were finally getting hitched after a super long time. In reverse order, here are some of my favs.

Here they are toasting their guests.

Gorgeous long veil + slight breeze = great photo op...even though I think Liz was super irritated with her veil at this particular moment, haha.

This is another time that I'm sure Liz was irritated (even though she was a lovely, composed bride the whole day)...her bouquet fell in the water. Here's an action shot of "The Rescue."

Just married! Off into the sunset!

Liz and her great flowers with her new hubs.

LOVE this pic. Look how happy and in love they are.

Liz didn't have a bustle, so I had to content myself with lots of pictures of her gorgeous veil. This is literally moments after the big event.

Sweet moment during the ceremony...

First Post!

Welcome to the blog for Fenwick Photography!

A little about me (Kate Fenwick):

I was raised in the beautiful South, where surrounded by gorgeous beaches, year-round flowers and greenery, and great history and architecture, photography became my passion. I started like most photographers, with a simple SLR camera given to me as a teenager. I started snapping shots of everything I could think of and never looked back.

I attended college, receiving a degree in graphic design and photojournalism, which has served me well in the portrait business.

Photography is my passion, not my job. I work dual time as a graphic designer and a photographer, so I am not quite as pressured by the constraints of having to make a living taking pictures. I keep my prices low and don't worry about packing in appointments, so your photos are returned to you with the highest possible quality.

Most days I work as a graphic designer  (when I'm not shooting pictures) so in addition to your portraits, I am available for design jobs as well (albums, invitations, save the dates, birth announcements...)

I will be retroactively posting some of my past photo shoots as well as updating as new stuff comes in. Thanks for checking Fenwick Photography out!

In-Site Proofing Now available at www.katefenwick.com!

Update for the main site:

katefenwick.com now features in-site proofing. Previously we were using zenfolio, which does a great job, but I like to be able to have everything contained on one page if at all possible, don't you agree?

Rachel and Steven

What a fun wedding! Rachel was the coolest, calmest and most collected bride ever! She knew exactly what she was doing and had a blast the whole day. I think it shows in her pictures.

Steven, the groom, is Filipino, so the at the rehearsal dinner he and Rachel wore the traditional Barong in honor of his heritage.

Heres the rehearsal:

And heres some of their beautiful wedding pictures! I had a hard time choosing which ones to put up!

*Note: here I am, taking a break from pictures and helping the bride do her makeup!

Melissa and Nik

Melissa is an old friend from highschool (and college) so when she asked me to do her wedding photography I was excited (needless to say!)

They have a cute little baby girl named Scarlett who made for some really sweet pictures. Not to mention Melissa and Nik are a good lookin' couple!

Here are some of my favs from the day:

Her beautiful bridesmaids!

The last time the bling would be alone on her finger, haha.

Lovin' on her beautiful daughter!

Meli and her gorgeous sisters. Is this not the prettiest family ever?!

Having her bustle fixed. I, uh...really like taking pictures of bustles, so if you've got one, you're gonna get pics of it :)

Melissa's mother and stepmother looking on in admiration.

Her "Something Old", a cameo from her mother.

Getting into her dress!!

Getting ready in her mothers mirror. I love the picture of Meli and her daughter stuck in the mirror. Details, details, details!!

Melissa's beloved father died a few months before the wedding, so in the midst of wedding morning madness, we took some time out and went to visit him. I took this picture from afar, just to include him in the wedding album too :)

Melissa's sister and her little girl...at the rehearsal dinner.

Meli and Nik's favors!

The getaway car!!

LOVE this picture! This is the exit...complete with birdseed!

Again with the bustle.

Her flowers were SUPER colorful.

Edited pic of the entrance!

Meli, when you have your second baby (in October!) I want to do family pics!!!
